CHWC celebrated NeighborWorks week 2009 in partnership with Lowe's. Free home maintenance and financial planning workshops were offered at CHWC offices - 2 South 14th Street, Kansas City, KS 66102 from 6 p.m. - 7: 30 p.m. starting Monday, June 8.

All workshops are free and open to the public! Workshop schedule as follows:

• Monday, June 8 - Lowe's Workshop on Landscaping 6-7pm
• Tuesday, June 9 - Tour of homes: 1142 Grandview, 1243 Barnett, 1326 Armstrong, Lunch 11am-2pm @ 1142 Grandview
• Wednesday, June 10 - Lowe's Workshop on Minor Home Repair and Energy Efficiency 6-7pm
• Thursday, June 11 - CHWC Garage Sale 8:30am to 3pm
• Friday, June 12 - CHWC Garage Sale 8:30am to 12pm
• Saturday, June 13 - Homebuyer Education Class - 8:30am to 10am.
